Firozpur (Punjab) November 3,2025:- Mr. Vijay Rana, DIG, BSF (Punjab Frontier), Ferozepur, has strongly praised the relief work being carried out by the volunteers of the organization United Sikhs to help the flood victims in the border villages of the district. Today, after a special meeting with S. Sukhwinder Singh, Chief of United Sikhs, and his associates, Mr. Vijay Rana, DIG, BSF (Punjab Frontier), spoke to reporters and said that United Sikhs' volunteers made a significant contribution in providing essential items like food, drinking water, clothes, medicines, fodder for cattle, and boats on a priority basis to the flood victims in various districts of Punjab, especially the border villages of Ferozepur district, in collaboration with BSF officers and personnel.

During this interaction, S. Sukhwinder Singh, Chief of United Sikhs, also sincerely thanked the BSF officials and all the officers of the Ferozepur District Administration for giving them their warm support in carrying forward the humanitarian service campaign.

Providing further information, he said that in view of the valuable assistance work being done by United Sikhs, Shrimati Deep Shikha Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Ferozepur District, has entrusted the responsibility of the rehabilitation and provision of all basic and primary health facilities to the residents of eleven flood-affected villages in the district to the United Sikhs organization. He added that the volunteers of their organization are performing this service with great skill.

In also mentioned that the major project adopted by United Sikhs, which includes making the people of all eleven villages self-reliant, cleaning agricultural land, providing diesel, seeds, fertilizers, and medicines, constructing new houses, providing new uniforms, books, and notebooks to schoolchildren, and delivering warm clothes, blankets, medicines, and rations, will be completed with the support of the community.

Several BSF officers and members of the organization were specially present at the occasion.
