In Srinagar where authorities did not give permission for congregational prayers to be held at the Jamia Masjid Eidgah, Eid al-Adha was a quiet affair. Merchants ferrying animals to the main market noted that business was not as usual and that the recent terror attack and the violence in its aftermath could have had an effect. And yet, these photos show young people weathering the storm.
