This year marks 75 years of the Indian Constitution.
Article 19 of the Constitution guarantees six rights to the citizens of India. They are:
- freedom of speech and expression;
- assemble peaceably and without arms;
- form associations or unions or co-operative societies;
- move freely throughout the territory of India;
- reside and settle in any part of the territory of India; and
- practise any profession, or to carry on any occupation, trade or business.
