This year marks 75 years of the Indian Constitution.

Article 19 of the Constitution guarantees six rights to the citizens of India. They are:

  1. freedom of speech and expression;
  2. assemble peaceably and without arms;
  3. form associations or unions or co-operative societies;
  4. move freely throughout the territory of India;
  5. reside and settle in any part of the territory of India; and
  6. practise any profession, or to carry on any occupation, trade or business.
