On August 22, 2025, citizens gathered at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar to protes the ongoing Genocide in Gaza. The peaceful protest saw participation from women, children and the elderly, many wearing kaffiyehs and carrying banners and ribbons that read “Free Palestine.”
Protestors condemned the mass killings in Palestine, the starvation of Gaza's citizens, and urged the international community to take immediate action. Speakers reminded the crowd of India’s historical solidarity with Palestine while criticising the Modi government’s stance and the silence of Western powers.
