New Delhi: After the Delhi police forcibly picked up climate activist and innovator Sonam Wangchuk from the Jantar Mantar protest site where he was fasting since the last 21 days, the student activists from the All India Students' Association (AISA) who were were also on indefinite fast along with Wangchuk, continued with their hunger strike.

While the Delhi police tried to shift the AISA activists too but several students formed a human chain around them.

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka has alleged that the Delhi police also pushed and roughed up students while forcefully shifting Wangchuk. He alleged that CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke was dragged along the road.

Wangchuk and three student activists from the All India Students’ Association (AISA) – Neha, Aamen and Manish – have been on an indefinite hunger strike demanding the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan and changes to India’s examination and education system.
