Watch | DDA Bulldozer Strikes Again: Multiple Houses Demolished in Delhi

In Kasturba Nagar, near Shahdara in Delhi, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) took action on Monday by demolishing “illegal” houses using a bulldozer. However, residents have accused the government conducting evictions without following proper rehabilitation procedures.

On Monday afternoon, the Supreme Court intervened, imposing a temporary seven-day halt on further demolitions.
If the residents fail to vacate within the given timeframe, the demolitions may resume. The affected residents are demanding fair treatment and proper resettlement options from the government.
