At the exhibition organised by the Safdar Hashmi Memorial Trust (SAHMAT), over 200 artists, writers and others reflect on what 75 years of independence means to them and where India is today. The Wire walks through this exhibition to explore the different perspectives and speaks to the organisers about why they chose a slightly different way to celebrate this anniversary.
