Rana Banerji, former Special Secretary, R&AW, said that General Munir is “definitely hostile and hardline to India” and added that “he’ll fight on till an honourable stalemate”. However, Banerji said that this hostility is “normal” for Pakistani generals and, in response to a specific question, said he does not believe General Munir would press the nuclear button.
