After the Pahalgam terror attack in April there’s only one key question the people of India want to hear answered by Pakistan and that question is the principal focus of this interview with Pakistan’s former foreign minister and chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari – why does Pakistan permit groups like the Laskhar-e-Tayyaba and Jaish-e-Mohammed to periodically carry out terror attacks on India?

Bhutto-Zardari seems to accept that Pakistani groups have been involved in terror against India in the past but, at the same time, refuses to accept that the Pakistani state was involved and also insists that Pakistan has changed and has taken action against these terror groups.

He refused to accept that Pakistan was involved in the terror attack in Pahalgam but would not directly answer questions about The Resistance Front, the claim it made within 45-minutes of the attack happening that it was responsible for it, and the fact that Pakistan, either through China or directly itself, refused to allow The Resistance Front to be listed as a terrorist entity by the UN or even named in the UN Security Council statement after the Pahalgam attack.
