On October 16, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers disrupted journalist and rationalist Shyam Manav’s ‘Sanvidhaan Bachao, Maharashtra Bachao’ rally in Nagpur, to prevent him from delivering a speech and conducting the event. Manav, a prominent has been touring Maharashtra to raise awareness about the threats to the Indian Constitution. Despite the chaos, the rally continued, with Manav pointing out how this disruption is evidence of the very dangers he’s been warning against.
