New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that record employment has been created in India. He referred to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) recently released detailed report on employment which suggested that around eight crore new jobs have been created in the last three-four years. However, experts suggest that the RBI data is not reliable since it focuses on the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) which includes “unpaid labour force” as well.
