In this UnPanel session, Smriti Parsheera, a research fellow at the Interledger Foundation, examines the act of loitering, leisure, and occupying public spaces amidst the growing presence of surveillance — including a million CCTV cameras, unlawful searches and seizures of digital devices, and aggressive urban monitoring. Through the lens of the right to privacy, Parsheera explores what these developments mean for the most vulnerable in society for “The Future of Loitering.”
