He was shot in the head by unknown assailants in front of his two daughters, days after he had registered a complaint against some men who had allegedly molested his niece. A woman immolated herself near Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s office a few days ago, upset that her land dispute case was not being heard. She also passed away.
