Namrata Joshi speaks to award-winning filmmaker Mira Nair about her BBC One TV series A Suitable Boy. Though the story is set in 1951, it foresees the political, cultural and social faultlines that have come to dominate our present. The series, which was Nair’s first foray into TV, brought down the curtain on the Toronto International Film Festival.
