After the lockdown has been lifted, many people can be seen using face shields along with masks. Face shields can help prevent the coronavirus from entering the body through the nose, mouth as well as the eyes. In Thailand, to protect newborns from the virus, face shields have been used widely. In Mumbai too, a hospital followed the same method. But can face shields become a substitute for masks? Apart from doctors and policemen, can common people also use it? Given the increasing number of infections being reported in the country, will it be necessary to wear face shields in the future?
