With nearly 300 novels under his belt, Surendar Mohan Pathak is one of India's most prolific Hindi-language crime fiction writers. His journey began in the 1960s with his Hindi translations of Ian Fleming's James Bond novels.

His bestselling 'Sunil' series consists of more than 150 novels, however, his best known is the 'Vimal' series. Pathak has distinguished himself as one of India's most well-respected pulp-fiction novelists, earning celebrity status in the crime-detection and mystery genre.
