Watch | Senior Farmer Leader: 'Movement Firm Despite Diversion Tactics'

SKM leader Jagjit Dallewal says their protests have been able to prompt people to talk about the 'dirty tricks' of the current regime, and not just about the three 'black' laws.

In an interview with The Wire, senior Samyukta Kisan Morcha leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal said, “The government is diverting our focus. We’re now occupied with providing legal aid and support to over a hundred arrested people – a majority of whom are innocent”

Admitting that the events of January 26 were a big jolt to the movement, he added that they are continuously working towards making this agitation even “stronger”. He said the government’s ‘diversion tactics’ have failed and that the movement is getting stronger.
