Watch | What Is the 'Koo App'?

The indigenous app, which is being endorsed by various ministers and politicians, offers services in various local languages.

Recently, social media has been buzzing over a new app which is being promoted and endorsed by various ministers, politicians and celebrities. Tagged as the ‘desi’ version of Twitter, the Koo app  is a microblogging site where you can share your thoughts in 400 characters. One of the prominent differences between Koo and Twitter is that the indigenous app offers services in various local languages.

Koo was launched in March 2020 by Bombinate Technologies Private Limited of Bangalore. The app was designed by Apameya Radhakrishnan and Mayank Bidvakta from India.
