Day 150 of the US-Israel War Against Iran: Washington Holding ‘Friendly Talks’ With Iran Says Trump, Netanyahu Arrives in Washington
Today, we enter Day 150 of the war. US President Donald Trump said Washington is holding “very friendly talks” with Tehran but indicated his unwillingness to engage in prolonged negotiations. Iran has claimed that the US was struggling to find a way out of the conflict. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in the US for talks with Trump.
Saudi Arabia condemned a drone attack by Iran-backed groups in Iraq targeting Riyadh and oil facilities in the kingdom’s Eastern Province. Separately, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk told Al Jazeera that his office had documented Israeli violations of international law in Lebanon, some of which could amount to war crimes.
