On Monday, March 2, day three of the joint United States-Israel strikes on Iran, US President Donald Trump claimed Tehran leaders were keen to talk – something Iran said was not really true.

Forty members of Iran’s top leadership, including its supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed in the strikes that began Saturday, February 28. Iranian official news services IRNA reported the transitional government being put in place.
