Day 60 of US-Israel War on Iran: Araghchi Thanks Russia For Solidarity, Trump ‘Unhappy’ with Iran's Latest Proposal
New Delhi: The crisis in West Asia triggered by the US and Israel’s war on Iran entered day 60 on Tuesday (April 28). After holding talks with President Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg, Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi thanked Russia for its support and solidarity. Meanwhile, reports in US media suggest that Donald Trump is dissatisfied with Iran’s latest proposal to end the conflict and is unlikely to approve it. In Washington, Senate Democrats have said they plan to push for a sixth vote this week on a war powers resolution aimed at limiting what they describe as Trump’s “war of choice” against Iran.
