Day 85 of US-Israel War on Iran: Pakistan Army Chief in Tehran, Trump Skips Son's Wedding 'Over War', Sirens in Tel Aviv
New Delhi: The US-Israeli war on Iran has entered the 85th day on Saturday, May 23, with efforts to end the ongoing conflict ongoing despite little progress beyond the April ceasefire, which has held with respect to Iran. Pakistan's military chief, Asim Munir, has landed in Tehran, where Iranian Finance Minister Abbas Araghchi has reportedly said "excessive demands" from the US are the main obstacle to arriving at a deal. Meanwhile, Israel activated air raid sirens in response to reported threats from its norther frontier, the regions bordering Lebanon, which have been under continuous attack from Israel despite a pause in the conflict. US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday he would not attend his son's wedding, which reports have linked with resumption of attacks on Iran, the country's so-called 'Plan B'.
