US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that “specific language” for a deal to end the Iran war was being negotiated in Qatar and would “take a few days”. After 88 days of total blackout, partial internet connectivity is being restored across Iran.
Meanwhile, Israel continues to kill people in Lebanon. On Tuesday, Israeli strikes killed at least 31 people and injured 40 in southern Lebanon, with attacks also targeting the Bekaa region and Qaraoun Dam area. Israeli forces reportedly issued forced displacement orders for several villages. Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu said that the country is “deepening" operation in Lebanon and “fortifying” what he termed as “security zone” in Lebanese territory.
