The UN refugee agency said around 1,000 to 2,000 vehicles per day were reported leaving Tehran, mostly toward the north.

A US submarine sank an Iranian warship off Sri Lanka in the waters of the Indian Ocean.

In addition to striking Tehran, Israel has hit Lebanon. Reports say Iran has fired on Bahrain, Kuwait and Israel. The death toll in Iran has surpassed 1,000.
