Trump to Stop Migration from 'Third World Countries', Calls for 'Reverse' Cure

New Delhi: US president Donald Trump has said that his administration will "permanently pause" migration from all "Third World" countries.

This announcement from Trump, whose administration has already been executing a brutal crackdown on whoever it deems is undocumented, comes after a shooting incident near the White House led to the death of a National Guard member. Authorities have claimed that the shooting was done by an Afghan national.

"I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the US system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden’s autopen, and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States," he said on his social media platform, Truth Social.

The term "third world" came up during the Cold War between the US and the Soviet Union, to describe countries that did not align with the capitalist "first world" or the communist "second world". However, it soon became a stand-in for under-developed or developing countries. Of late, it has been replaced with the term "Global South".

Reuters has reported, however, that the alleged gunman, 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, was granted asylum this year under Trump, according to a US government file. He had entered the US in 2021 under a resettlement programme set up by Biden after the US military withdrew from Afghanistan, leading to the takeover by the Taliban.

"These goals will be pursued with the aim of achieving a major reduction in illegal and disruptive populations," Trump said.
"Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation."

Trump had also earlier ordered a widespread review of asylum cases approved under Biden's administration and Green Cards issued to citizens of 19 countries.

Reuters also reported that the US Citizenship and Immigration Services has stopped processing all immigration requests relating to Afghan nationals indefinitely.

Trump also went into a pejorative rant while he delivered Thanksgiving wishes.

"A very Happy Thanksgiving salutation to all of our Great American Citizens and Patriots who have been so nice in allowing our Country to be divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at, along with certain other foolish countries throughout the World, for being “Politically Correct,” and just plain STUPID, when it comes to Immigration," he wrote.

He claimed that "refugee burden is the leading cause of social dysfunction in America," and that this "did not exist after World War II (Failed schools, high crime, urban decay, overcrowded hospitals, housing shortages, and large deficits, etc.)."

He called Minnesota governor Tim Walz "seriously retarded and Ihan Omar, the "worst “Congressman/woman” in our Country...always wrapped in her swaddling hijab, and who probably came into the U.S.A. illegally in that you are not allowed to marry your brother, does nothing but hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution, and how “badly” she is treated, when her place of origin is a decadent, backward, and crime ridden nation, which is essentially not even a country for lack of Government, Military, Police, schools, etc…".
