The Bengaluru South MP along with his uncle and Basavangudi MLA Ravi Subramanya was attending a meeting of depositors of the Sri Guru Raghavendra Co-operative (SGRC) Bank, who tried to raise the issue of the bank’s revival with them. 

The Bengaluru police have rejected as many as three petitions seeking permission to protest at Freedom Park in solidarity with Palestine – and have given different excuses for the rejection.

Two cattle transporters alleged that they were attacked by Hindutva extremists led by Kerehalli on March 20 near Electronic City in Bengaluru. However, they filed a complaint only after Kerehalli was arrested in the alleged murder of another cattle transporter.
